Richard Michael Dantona (born January 20, 1977) is an Italian-American[1] entrepreneur and business owner, known for his contributions to the real estate development industry. He is also the owner of the Florida Warriors Youth Hockey Association. He is also the founder of Academy Home Kitchen & Bath, Inc. and Academy Home Developments, Inc.

Early life and Education[edit]
Dantona was born in Bayshore, NY to Brooklyn and Queens natives Laura Jean Murillo and Richard James Dantona. Dantona also was raised by his maternal grandmother Dolores J Murillo who passed away on July 9, 1997.[1]
Career[edit]
Early career
In 1997, while still residing in New York, Dantona established his own construction business, Academy Mobile Enterprise, Inc. Recognizing the potential in Florida's real estate market, he relocated to Ft. Myers in January 2003.[1]
Florida Warriors Youth Hockey Association
In 2019, Dantona founded the Florida Warriors Youth Hockey Association. The program, based out of the Ft. Myers Skatium, fields teams ranging from U6 to U16.[1]
Personal life[edit]
Dantona is a partner to Amy Hoff, with whom he shares two children, Myla Jean Dantona and Dominick Angelo Dantona.[1]
