SOURPUSSY is a Canadian rock band formed in 2023, originating from Ottawa, Ontario. It consists of Tina Wallace (vocals and guitar), Leeny Jones (bass and vocals), and Rob Patterson (drums and vocals). Their debut single, Talking To (My Younger Self) will be released on February 17, 2024.

In the quaint town of Willowbrook, where laughter seemed scarce and joy was but a distant memory, three grumpy kids roamed the streets like shadows, each burdened by their own woes. Leeny, with her perpetually furrowed brow, carried the weight of unmet expectations from her strict parents. Tina, her sharp tongue matched only by her piercing glare, harbored resentment from being misunderstood by her peers. And Rob, his scowl seemingly etched into his features, bore the scars of past betrayals that left him wary of opening up to anyone.
Their paths crossed one dreary afternoon in the forgotten corner of a dilapidated park, where the swings creaked mournfully and the merry-go-round stood frozen in time. Leeny sat alone on a rusted bench, strumming her guitar with melancholy chords. Tina, passing by with a sneer on her lips, paused to listen despite herself. And Rob, drawn by the haunting melody, emerged from the shadows where he'd been brooding.
"What are you playing?" Tina asked, her voice tinged with curiosity rather than hostility.
Leeny glanced up, surprise flickering in her eyes at the unexpected company. "Just something I wrote," she muttered, her fingers stilling on the strings.
"It's not bad," Rob grunted, surprising even himself with the compliment.

And so, against all odds, three grumpy kids named Leeny, Tina, and Rob found their voices – not as individuals, but as a collective force to be reckoned with, proving that even the sourest of souls could find redemption in the power of friendship and music.
