Need for Sales Skills Development: The majority of people come to sales as they are not experts in anything and feel that anyone can be a salesman. No specific knowledge or qualification is required other than some subject knowledge about the product he/she wants to sell. However, people underestimate that sales itself is a subject and one needs to learn. A very small part of it is covered in MBA courses but not really how to develop selling skills and how to implement it.
Many people come to sales following their passion and they believe Sales is one of the best skills to earn good money honestly as well as helping customers to buy the right products and help the company to do good business and create employment. They try to learn but less opportunities in formal study to understand selling in depth. However, in today's time large amount of content is available in blogs (ref: www.salesskills.co.in ) which gives better clarity and sales professionals should study regular manner.
