Sanskriti Atul Dawle is the co-founder of Thinkerbell Labs, an inclusive education start-up from Bengaluru. She is one of the four founders of Annie,[1] a self-learning Braille tutorial device.[2][3][4] The other co-founders who were her classmates at BITS Pilani, Goa, are Aman Srivastava, Dilip Ramesh and Saif Shaikh.[5][6][7]
Early life and education[edit]
Dawle's parents Atul and Varsha Dawle are construction consultants.[8] Dawle graduated from BITS Pilani with a Bachelor's in Computer Science from 2012 to 2016.[5] Earlier, she passed her junior college from Fergusson College in 2012. She did her schooling at St. Joseph's High School, Pashan (2010). She is also a partner in another start-up, Makerbin LLP.[9]
Career[edit]
She has done extensive research on assistive tech for people with visual impairments. She spent over six years taking her innovations to the field and testing them with visually impaired students all over the world. She is also a TEDx speaker and Mantra awardee (Social Leadership).
In 2019, the self-learning device, Annie, was introduced in a government school for visually-impaired children in Jashpur district, Chhattisgarh to improve early-stage literacy.[7]

She won the bronze category Infosys Foundation Aarohan Social Innovation Awards 2019.[1]
