Segan is fashion brand based in Vancouver, Canada. It has created to establish what meaningful fashion is and that fashion can be more than just a different look and trend[1]. Its product lines include handbags, jewelry, etc, and all their products are made in Leon, Mexico, except their jewelries which are made in Guangzhou, China . The brand claims to be a riff on the mainstream fashion culture from the content and products to brand name and their marketing.

Segan was legally founded by Mahdi Terani in 2020 right around when the world was experiencing COVID-19 pandemic. The brand is named after the great designer who doesn't exist which is riff on the fashion mainstream fashion culture since almost all the fashion brands are named after their founder or chief designer.

The Circle[edit]

It's an extension of the brand's website and intended for those who beilive in the values of the brand. Segan calls The Circle their cult which, just like most of the things they do, is a riff on the cult-like way fashion is with no real purpose and at the same time it's a theme to attract people that are looking for a deeper commitment to the values of the brand.[2]

Segan calls the people, who join The Circle on their website, "disciples" which is connected to their cult theme. Disciples have access to all the Segan products, daily passages, digital files, monthly sermons, etc. The brand offers nothing outside The Circle which means this cult is their only public product, and people have access to their world once they're in The Circle.
