Definition and Usage[edit]
The phrase "Silly Goose" is used to denote a person who is, or is feeling, Silly. Historically, the term has been used in a mildly insulting way to call somebody crazy or dumb.[1][2]

- American Dad, S6 episode 18 (Flirting with Disaster): "That's so stupid, you silly goose."[4]
- Community, S3 episode 8 (Documentary Filmmaking: Redux): "I'm a silly goose."[5][6]
- The French Dispatch: "Of course, silly goose. Meanwhile..."[7][8]
