Draft:Sillyism

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sillyism described as, a movement to live life silly, to the max, is a religious and universal order or way of life by which followers abid, beliving that life's main goal is to be silly and that people should be as silly as possible in life.[1] It is considered a Parody religion created by the prophet Maximilian Arthur Fosh, a Youtube Content Creator. Sillyism is a loose religion without much commitment needed from it's followers, and belives that members can follow both sillyism and other faiths. With around 1.4 million members of the Church it is a fast growing religion becoming one of the biggest parody religions in the, and being dubbed the 3rd most followed religion in the UK.[2]

The Belifes Of Sillyism[edit]

The beliefs of Sillyism are outlined in an initiation ceremony or oath, where members commit to being silly in various aspects of their lives. As a way of initaion of Curch, Max Fosh out lines that members shall:

I will be silly whenever humanly possible.

I will always sit at the front of the bus to pretend to be the driver.

I will always ask my friend who puts too much sugar in his tea if he would like some tea with that sugar.

I will make all future dental appointments at 2:30.

If you agree to this,

You agree to be a silly billy.

You may never be sad again, instead you must be silly. Let go of your fears and let your silly out.

Welcome.[1]

The movement emphasizes the rejection of sadness in favor of embracing silliness, encouraging followers to let go of their fears and enjoy life in a light-hearted manner.

History Of Sillyism[edit]

The historical roots of Sillyism can be traced back to the 2020's when Max Fosh designated the city of Silly, Belgium, as the holy land of the Silly Billies. The first pilgrimage to Silly was undertaken by Fosh himself, where he obtained the Holy Soil of Sillyism.

The first congregation of Sillyism would be held in London, England hosting 2,000 people. This would be the birth of the first Silly Oath.

The first Oath of Sillyism[edit]

if you want to join first you MUST subscribe to Max Fosh

then raise your right hand

then put your left hand up and wave them like you just dont care

then you must repeat after me

I swear that i will be silly for the rest of my life.

I swear that I will sit at the front of the bus and pretend like you are the driver.

I promise if your friend puts too much sugar in their tea you must reply do you want any tea with that sugar.

I promise to make all dental appointments at 2:30.

I am a silly billy, I eat silly sausages I promise that I will be silly at every opportunity.

Silly Billy[edit]

A Silly Billy is a members of the church whome agreed to the Silly Oath. The term was first dubbed in the 19th century in London England to describe fair clowns[3], and was later picked up as a common saying for the members of the Church of Silly.
