- Comment: A film studio with a single film released is not yet notable. The citations added (one film review and one interview with the studio's principles) do not amount to significant, independent coverage of the studio. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 21:49, 5 December 2023 (UTC)
Simone Films is a New York based independent entertainment company founded by filmmakers Rebekah Sherman-Myntti and KJ Rothweiler.[1] Specializing in the development, production, and creation of auteur-driven projects with distinct points of view, Simone Films exists at the center of New York’s new wave of up-and-coming talent, providing a home base for the city's most exciting emerging artists. Simone Films is deeply committed to independent film, new voices, as well as creating and supporting projects that push the boundaries of what the medium allows and what the industry encourages.
The company hosts the Simone Actors Studio for up-and-coming talent to learn about the craft guided by teachers such as Michael Imperioli, Alex Ross Perry, Dolly Wells, and Crystal Moselle[2].
Simone Films has had sold out screenings of their debut feature films Salamander Days in Los Angeles and New York.[3]
