Siobhan Alvarez (Siobhan Alvarez-Borland) (bortn 1985) is an American content creator, public speaker, small business owner and postpartum doula who is known for her multiple popular websites, Mimosasandmotherhood.com, funfamilymeals.com, birthandpostpartum.com and budgetbabybudget.com. Siobhan is widely credited with starting the 14 Days of Love viral trend and creating the incredibly popular Sausage & Tortellini Slow Cooker soup that has been shared more than 70,000 times.
Siobhan shares about parenting topics, primarily pregnancy, childbirth and parenting through the little years. She is a certified postpartum doula CPD(DONA), and leader of the online community, an activity group of nearly 7,000 birthing people and birth professionals, all working to improve the safety and access to proper information for individuals giving birth in the state of Georgia.
A former nonprofit Executive Director, Siobhan launched She Shines Media in 2020 and has helped nearly 1,000 women launch their own websites for free through the educational arm of her work.
Siobhan is the owner of the trademark Mimosas & Motherhood, and has been featured in The Washington Post, Yahoo, Better Homes and Gardens, Parents Magazine, Pop Sugar, Medium and more.
