Sitamarhi High School is a Secondary and senior Secondary High School, Which also known as M.P. High School. It is Situated in Dumra Block of Sitamarhi District Bihar, India. The history of this School is more than 100 Years Old. This School was Build during the British era many big personalities have studied from Sitamarhi High School. It is a Government School and the Head of all Government Schools in Sitamarhi District.

History

History of Sitamarhi High School is more interesting During the British era this School is built in Muzaffarpur District but 11th of Dec 1972 When Sitamarhi District is formed Since this School was in Sitamarhi, It Became the Zila School of Sitamarhi. In the beginning of this School, We used to Call Zila School, Sitamarhi.

Student of the Years

This title is given to those Students who excel in Sports and other things for the School. Sports and Extracurricular Activities has always been organized in Sitamarhi High School, Dumra. This Title was Started by the principal Braj Mohan Mandal in 2015.

First title Goes to Adarsh Kumar in 2015 to Participate in Speech Competition and Win that Speech Competition.

also Vishal Kumar in 2015 Participate in another Speech Competition and win for Sitamarhi High School.

Second title Goes to Prince Anmol, Suman Jha, Shambhu Kumar, Ashish Ranjan and Nikku Kumar in 2016 for Participating in National Children Science Congress and for Wining that Competition. These boys represents Sitamarhi High School at State Level. Suman Jha was leading that team. Third title Goes to Prince Anmol, Suman Jha, Shambhu Kumar, Nikku Kumar, Ashish Ranjan, Suyash Kumar in 2017 for Participating in National Children Science Congress. Shambhu Kumar and Suman Jha was Leading the team.

Suyash Kumar individually Participated in a Program Science for Society in Bihar and Win second Prize for Sitamarhi High School. Suyash's Project was in the interest of the Society. His Project was to recycle the dirty water coming out of the factory and use it again. Suyash Kumar also Participated in a Play Whose purpose was to make people aware that We should keep our surroundings Clean and Suyash Kumar Played a role of Mukhiya Ji. That Play was written by Krishna Kumar( Physics faculty).
