SovietWomble is a British YouTuber and Twitch streamer known for his series of 'Bullshittery' videos where short comical gameplay clips are presented with overlaid text.[1][2] To date, SovietWomble's content has amassed over 4 million subscribers and 1.15 billion views on Youtube as well as 1.6 million followers on Twitch.
Personal life[edit]
Soviet is a private individual, as such not much is known about his personal life.[1]
Soviet was born on July 6th, 1986[3][4]. During his secondary school education at Blatchington Mill School, his A levels degree focused on History & Computing.[5]
Before becoming an fulltime streamer on Twitch, Soviet worked in quality assurance for the software industry in London.[2] He left the industry to become a full time content creator in February 2016.[6]
Soviet's younger brother, Jack, also streams on Twitch under the name Lamram.
On July 22nd, 2016 Soviet adopted a French Bulldog puppy by the name of Lulu.[7] Since then, Lulu is frequently featured in SovietWomble's livestreams.
Video series[edit]
Bullshittery[edit]
Published since August 2013, the Bullshittery series forms the core of Soviet's regular content.[8] Popular games which have made repeated appearances in the series are Arma 3, the DayZ mod and CSGO.[9]
Long-form video essays[edit]
In November of 2020, Soviet published his first long-form video essay and has since published four others. These essays focus on different aspects of the gaming industry and game development, and typically focus on one or several games as a case study.
