Jennifer E. Siegel is a special trial judge of the United States Tax Court.

Education[edit]

Siegel graduated from Barnard College where she earned a B.A. She then received an M.B.A. from the Drucker School of Management at Claremont Graduate University, a J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law, and an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law.

Career[edit]

After working in private practice and as a certified mediator, Siegel began her career with the United States Tax Court as Attorney-Adviser to Special Trial Judge Robert N. Armen, Jr. in 2006. She transitioned to an Assistant Deputy Counsel to the Chief Judge (2009-2017), Deputy Clerk of the Court (2017-2019), and Public Affairs Counsel (2019-2023). She was appointed Special Trial Judge of the United States Tax Court on September 11, 2023.
