Stefano Tucci (May 31, 1983) is an italian musician, producer and songwriter.
Stefano Tucci's musical style spans breakbeat, trip hop, techno house, deep house, ambient house, rock, chill out, lounge, electro-pop and dark-pop.[2]
Musical Career[edit]
In 1998, Stefano formed the metal cover band Hell Chest, performing in iconic rock and metal bars in Napoli. The bassist of the band was Lucio Grilli, that then become member of Soul Secret and Mind Key. Composer and pianist Alessandro Laraspata was in that band on rhytm guitar. They played in the most iconic rock and metal scenes of the 90's in Naples: Napul@, Jail, Southern Bull.
In Bologna, he transitioned to electronic music and he co-founded the DJ duo Stepstoofar, signing with BRM Electro[3] producing singles like "Dear Bro" and "Soul & Music."They appeared on the music youtube channel "Urban Music Bank" in 2015.[4]
Stefano's solo career took off in 2013 with the release of "Collateral Thinking" under Smoothnotes Publishing[5] and later Machiavelli Records.[6] He then published the chill out album "Flows" and the pop one "A fine day to be born".
in 2018 published "9-Heartbit", going toward a more electronic sound.
In 2019 he published the fruit of the collaboration with singer Kristiana met in Paris some years before,[7] "Here, nowhere".[8][9]
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Stefano collaborated with French songwriter Alexia Charoud and arranged songs for the French artist MALE, contributing to the trip hop single "The Lonely and the Careless"[10] and co-producing the electro-pop EP "Mutations"[11] and the album "Eclore"
His musical evolution led to collaborations with artists like the italian percussionist Marco Vittoria and ventures such as "Mast." The duo's journey, is documented in their album, released posthumously for Marco Vittoria.[12][13][14][15]

Stefano collaborated with singer and actress Francesca Colapietro[16] on several songs and composer Mariano Bellopede on a LOFI project called Rainbow Tapes.
A remix of the song "Dis-le moi" taken from the MALE EP "Mutations" was done by producer Purple Idole in 2022.

Stefano's influences range from classic rock bands to electronic genres to traditional music singers, encompassing Pain of Salvation, Anathema, Nirvana,Metallica, Massive Attack, The Prodigy, Vivaldi, Gilberto Gil, Pino Daniele.
Themes in Stefano's music revolve around contradictions and opposites, portraying the constant struggle for balance in an unbalanced world. Society's injustice and love serve constantly as inspiration.[2]
