Storm Internet Services is a Canadian Internet Service Provider (ISP)[1] that serves the City of Ottawa in Ontario, Canada, as well as surrounding areas. Its sales, support, and management teams are based out of Ottawa, Chesterville, and Perth. They are known for not throttling their services to regulate network traffic.

Storm Internet Services was started in 1996, and serves the City of Ottawa in Ontario, Canada, as well as surrounding areas.

Storm has successfully implemented the Canadian Internet Registration Authority's D-Zone Anycast DNS solution to protect from DDoS attacks.[2] As a recipient of Canada's Universal Broadband Fund, Storm will help to expand broadband internet coverage in Canada. [3]

Services[edit]

Storm provides internet service options including DSL, cable, wireless and recently, fibre to the home (FTTH) options.[4] In addition to internet services, Storm provides phone, VoIP and television services.
