Background[edit]

In a review with Zane Lowe from Apple Music, Ricch said that he did not expect it. Roddy Ricch said that he was in Miami, Florida and he ended up running into Birdman and the two of them started talking, later they had the song planned out and Birdman got his longtime friend on the track too, Lil Wayne. Ricch later said that it was his dream to do a song with the two of them, since he saw them together as kids.[1]

Composition and lyrics[edit]

The song features a trap beat which was made by Awaz Beatz and D-Roc. The song's chorous is performed by Roddy Ricch, who also performs the first verse. Ricch saying lyrics like "I bought a white Bentayga / Had to creep through the night in a Spaceship and "Niggas rather be fly than realer / And if the opps wanna slide get hit up". Birdman and Lil Wayne perform the second and third verses perceptively along with Lil Wayne's background vocals. Birdman gets straight to the point by saying lyrics such as "Cap a slingshot on '80s shit / Cherry wood in all my whips / Do it big, that label shit / Created shit but stayed hood rich", and Lil Wayne raps in a style of progressively getting slower alongside saying lyrics like "Uh Stunnaman, Stunnaman, bulletproof Cullinan / Chrome Heart bust, now I weigh it underhand / Spent a couple hunnid bands / that was just for the band.[2]

Upon it's release, the song was very well received by critics, HipHopDX stated that "Cash Money Records can take over the 2020's with this type of music". And to continue, Complex said the song was a "#1 Stunna" and said the "#1 Stunna is making a comeback".
