The Suzuki GSX-S1000GX is a 999 cc (61.0 cu in) Suzuki Sports Crossover motorcycle introduced at the EICMA 2023 (Milan Show), which was held in Milan, Italy from 7 to 12 November 2023.The GSX-S1000GX is a crossover model that combines sport-tourer and adventure elements. [1]
Electronic suspension[edit]
The GSX-S1000GX is Suzuki’s first motorcycle which has been equipped with the advanced electronic suspension (SAES), which electronically controls the suspension damping and preload according to vehicle speed, road surface conditions, and changes in posture caused by the brakes. [1]
Suzuki K5 engine[edit]
The K5 engine continues to be celebrated as a powerhouse in the motorcycle world. Initially praised in the 2005 GSX-R1000, its reputation remains intact even when adapted for the GSX-S1000 in 2015. Retaining its characteristic aggression and impressive performance, the engine delivers a thrilling experience with its roaring exhaust, deep airbox growl, and eagerness to rev.
Acceleration figures for the GSX-S1000GX are impressive, with 60mph achieved in just over three seconds and 100 mph (160 km/h) in 6.98 seconds. Furthermore, the gearbox and standard up/down quick shifter system was praised for the precision and responsiveness. [4]
