TV Maci was first broadcasted on April 15, 1963, on M1. It was known as "Esti Mese", or "Night Story".

TV Maci's birthday is broadcasted on October 23, which was not day TV Maci was first broadcasted, but rather Bálint Ágnes' birthday. TV Maci was built by Szabó László.[1]
