The Technical University of Applied Sciences Aschaffenburg[1] (Technische Hochschule Aschaffenburg, abbreviated: TH AB) is a technical university in Germany, which is located in Bavaria and was founded in 1995. The university cooperates with companies and academia in Germany and abroad and promotes young scientists. It maintains exchanges with around 100 partner universities worldwide. The university sees itself as an innovation centre in the Frankfurt-Rhine-Main metropolitan region with the campus in Aschaffenburg, the Center for Scientific Services and Transfer in Obernburg, the Sustainable Energy Technology Transfer Center (NETZ) in Alzenau and the Miltenberg Learning Center.
