Draft:The Nightly

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Nightly – launched in February 2024 – is a national digital news platform in Australia. The Nightly will focus on politics, policy, business and culture, with an editorial team led by Editor-In-Chief Anthony De Ceglie and Editor Sarah-Jane Tasker.[1]. The Nightly is a news website and app, and a digital newspaper that will be published on Monday to Friday evenings[2].

The Nightly was built in response to a clear consumer need. People’s lives are getting busier, and their mornings have never been so chaotic. Everyone’s ‘me time’ is now at night. The Nightly is giving Australians a way to spend their night wisely and get in front of tomorrow[3].

The Nightly is owned by Seven West Media (SWM), Australia’s largest diversified media business[4]
