The Sweet Spot is a premium dessert shop in Virginia Beach, Virginia.[1] It offers a wide variety of desserts, including ice cream, milkshakes, funnel cakes, churros, and bubble waffles. It was founded in 2016 by Mery Ghattas.

In 2024, The Sweet Spot announced plans to franchise nationwide.

The Sweet Spot's expansion in Virginia Beach was announced in January 2021.[2]

In December 2021, the shop raised money for the Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters (CHKD)[3] and repurposed 1,500 toys to support the hospital.[4]

In September 2022, the shop's milkshakes were featured in a Yelp article.[5]

The Sweet Spot participated in the city's Something in the Water festival in April 2023.[6] In June 2023, The Sweet Spot reopened after a renovation.[7]
