Draft:The Truman

  • Comment: The URL for ref 1 & 4 - the only one which seems to be independent & about the venue - seems to take us to somewhere other than the expected story.
Other than that, there is only this one broken reference contributing to WP:GNG. So that's a big problem. THe many other refs do not evidence notability. Tagishsimon (talk) 13:25, 29 December 2023 (UTC)

The Truman is a concert hall and event space located in the Crossroads neighborhood in Kansas City, MO. Originally built in the 1930s, it was transformed from the site of a former auto parts facility, Sterling Bearing, into a venue for music and events.[1][2][3]. The venue features a large main hall, a separate bar and lounge at the main entrance, an open-air patio, and a second-story VIP area with views of downtown Kansas City while overlooking the main room and stage. Notably, the venue's exterior boasts a distinctive light blue color chosen through a contest, contributing to its unique identity in Kansas City[4].

Notable Performances[edit]

The Truman's inaugural show on September 16, 2017, featured rapper Tech N9ne, a Kansas City native[5]. Since then, The Truman has hosted a wide array of national touring acts and local musicians. Some of the notable performers and events that have graced the stage at The Truman include:
