Draft:This is immie
Submission declined on 19 January 2024 by Lopifalko (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

Imogen (Immie) Swain gained her platform when she was featured on Good morning britain in March 2021 at age 17. She has since been on the show 2 more times and been on Radio 5. She is also featured in various newspapers. Immie promotes autism awareness in girls as she was diagnosed at 15 after a very serious decline in her mental health. She also talks about how schools should be more accepting and spot the signs. She has briefly talked about her experience at a specialist school from year 9- year 10, which was so horrific that she ended up with severe ptsd, all due to the way she was treated by teachers and other students. Immie doesn’t talk about her mental health very much but we do know that she has suffered with depression to a very severe point. She also suffers with panic disorder. Immie and her father Jonathan Swain together campaign for more awareness and acceptance to be raised for autism as they have seen the affects that being undiagnosed can have on people. Immie regularly makes content on her instagram this is immie to talk about autism and how people can help. Immie also regularly uses sign language in her videos as it is a positive and easy way for people with autism to communicate, due to the fact she has auditory processing disorder. She also opens up about her struggles with chronic illness which is mainly nausea due to how severe her anxiety is. She is now studying law at university and has a boyfriend who she has been with for nearly 3 years.
