Cage Edward Brooks (Born February 28, 2004[1]), better known by his stage name Thunder ARC is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter, primarily of the Hip-Hop and Contemporary R&B genre, and the CEO of R!OT Music Group, EF5 Record, and Thunder ARC Productions, based in Muncie, Indiana.[2]

Career[edit]

Thunder ARC started his career when he was in 9th Grade as he was attending Muncie Central High School[3] along with his best friend and music partner, Melvin Dakoda Wable also known by his stage name Xyugen, a fellow Co-Founder of R!OT Music Group and EF5 Records. He recorded and uploaded his first song on December 9, 2018 labeled "Midnight Love", paving his way towards bigger things.[4]

On January 26, 2019 ARC and Xyugen would release their first Collaboration labeled "Alone" followed by their first two collaborations with Melvin's step-brother at the time, Toby Cline, at the time known as Lilsavagetc labeled "Misery" and "No Hook" on February 2nd.[5][6]

On March 19, 2020, Cage released his first solo album of the name "Chaos Theory[7] featuring various YouTube artists such as Valious, LukeXI, and more, as well as his partner, Xyugen, and producers such as CapsCtrl, Tofito, and Prod. Riddiman.

In spring of 2020, ARC went on to release an EP with Xyugen titled "#wakeemup" featuring the title track, "#wakeemup", "Iwonderifvegansbeattheirmeat", and a freestyle from both rappers, as well as a Single with Lilsavagetc labeled "Murder"[8]. On May 15, 2020, He released the single titled "Alone, Pt 2"[9] followed by another collaboration with fellow Muncie artists Xyugen and, then rapper, Lilsavagetc, titled "Ages" in September 2020. The very next month, he would go on to release his 2nd solo album titled "Red Pill, Blue Pill" featuring the single "Alone, Pt 2[10] ", as well as 6 other tracks that he had come up with in the time being. Immediately following, ARC and Xyugen released a project they had simultaneously been working on labeled "More Pussy", followed by an another solo album on Christmas in 2020 called "Dead Roses" featuring a song with Xyugen, tracks with Valious, ARINA, and PERISH, as well as remasters of older songs in ARC's catalog such as "Blue", "Sorry", and "Drunken Memories".

On February 14, 2021 he would go on to release another solo album by the name "Me U & My Heart" featuring more tracks with Valious and PERISH as well as new artists such as Kevin Hues and Lil Uber. He also happened to convince his younger sister, Jacquelyn Brooks, under the name of Jackie Anne, labeled "Proud"[11], featuring artist Valious that would be released on April, 15 2021. He would go silent for almost a full year, before releasing his next single titled "Everything I Didn't Say" produced by rx808 on March 7, 2022. He would only go on to release 2 more songs after this, labeled "Tell Me, Tell Me (Trust Issues)" and "Insignificant featuring Xyugen".

On January 1, 2023 he released his 6th album labeled "The Lost Tapes"[12] On February 2, 2023 he recorded and published the song "Lost in Love" featuring $ilas produced by Miler Beats, followed by a series of 4 songs over the next 5 weeks, Losing Interest on March 10th, Reason One on March 21st, "Meathouse featuring Xyugen" on March 27, and "Love Story <3 featuring Xyugen" on April 7. On July 14th, him and Soulesskidd Runaway would release a remix of "Lost in Love featuring $ilas"

On February 14, 2024 he would then release Cupid's Heart, an EP of 5 songs labeled, "Stay", "Strate2Fax (Alternate Version)", "Don't Go", "In My Dreams"(a single released late 2023), and "Save Me featuring Xyugen".

Cage grew up in Muncie, Indiana with his mother, Candis Brooks[13], his father, Michael P. Brooks, younger sister Jacquelyn Brooks[14], and older sister Jayna Zebelle [15]
