Tife Owolabi (born May 22,1977) is a freelance journalist and has been writing professionally since 2005 starting with Channels Television as a cameraman and then moved to Daar Communications Plc, Operator of AIT and Raypower in 2007 to 2010 as a reporter before he later decided to go freelancing for Reuters News Agency and other international medium in the oil-rich Niger Delta. He graduated from the University of Lagos, Akoka, Yaba, Lagos, with B.Sc. in Public Administration , a Post-Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication at the same institution, a Master in Political Science at the University of Port-Harcourt, Choba, Rivers State with a focus on Development Studies and PhD in view in Development Studies.
He also bagged a Diploma in Journalism, Reporting, and News Writing from the London School of Journalism amongst others institutions.
He has a great passion for journalism which has taken him to several places such as Northern, Nigeria and the oil-bearing Niger Delta on several issues on breaking news, markets, business, entertainment, technology, video, and pictures.
