Tom Baines School is a public junior high school located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada which teaches students from Grade 6 to 9. The school is named after Thomas R. Baines, the first curator and zookeeper of the Calgary Zoo.[1]

History[edit]

The school is located in the northwest region of Edgemont on Edgepark Blvd NW and is operated by the Calgary Board of Education and opened on September 1998.

Students[edit]

As of September 2023, the school has a total enrolment rate of 837[2] and currently serves students from Edgemont that are in Grade 6-9, and students from the Hamptons that are in Grade 7-9.
