Travis Wayne Goodsell was born in Oakland, California on March 17th, 1970.
On Jan. 28th, 2001, he sued The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Days Saints[1] for Rico Racketeering Violations.[2]
He is a world-renowned Anthropologist of the Ancient Middle East..[3] He graduated from the former Ricks College and the University of Lethbridge in Alberta, Canada [4]; where he disciplined in Biblical Studies (under Thomas A. Robinson), Philosophy of Science (studying scientific methodology), Biblical Hebrew (under Walter Emanuel Aufrecht who studied under Thomas O. Lambdin of Harvard), Greek (also under Thomas A. Robinson), and Latin.
As an Anthropologist of the Ancient Middle East was recognized for deciphering Paleo-Hebrew[5], Paleo-Greek (previously dead languages) as well as Aramaic scripts. Also as an expert Egyptian Hieroglyphs he identified new symbols that weren't on any existing sign list. He's also an Abecedarian (one who studies the alphabet), a Lexicographer (one who writes dictionaries), and a Translator (one who takes a foreign language and turns it into English) of ancient languages as well as a religious Theologian[6]
Travis grew up a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and he set out to see, using the scientific method, whether Joseph Smith Jr. was really a Translator of ancient scriptures. Through his scientific studies he confirmed that not only was Joseph Smith Jr. a legitimate Translator, but that the Jewish scriptures, written in the "Learning of the Jews," were symbolic prophesies of the future Latter Day Jewish Christ told in story form and not literal histories.
His published books include:
