Early and personal life[edit]

Vaibhav Garje was born on 20 May 1999 in Thane, Maharashtra, India. He began playing kabaddi at a young age and quickly showed promise. He was a member of the Maharashtra state team at the junior level and helped them to win the 2019 Khelo India Youth Games.[1] [2]

Career[edit]

Garje made his professional debut in the 2023 Pro Kabaddi League with the Bengal Warriors. He was a key member of the team's offense, scoring 184 raid points in 26 matches. He was named the Emerging Player of the Season for his performance.[3] [4]

Garje is a versatile raider who is capable of scoring points in a variety of ways. He is known for his speed, athleticism, and ability to create openings for his teammates. He is also a strong defender, and he has been credited with helping to improve the Warriors' defensive unit.[5] [6]
