Veritas Baptist College is a private Bible college located in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.

History[edit]

Veritas Baptist College, initially named Berean Baptist Institute, was founded in 1984 by three Fredericksburg, Virginia area pastors: Don Forrester, Mickey Creed, and Tom McGee. It originated as a ministry of Faith Baptist Church, with the aim of providing college-level training for Christian workers.[3]

In 1994, it was renamed Virginia Baptist College (VBC) and gained formal recognition from the Commonwealth of Virginia.[4]

VBC achieved Accredited Status in 2011 from the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS).[5]

In 2018, the college moved to the State of Indiana and adopted its current name, Veritas Baptist College.[6]

VBC received approval to offer distance education in all 50 states in 2019.[7]
