Vijay Dewan is an Indian hotelier and presently is the Managing Director of Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels, a subsidiary of the Apeejay Surrendra Group, which operates The Park Hotels - a collection of luxury boutique hotels and restaurants across India.[1]
Vijay Dewan has a Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry and a Post Graduate Diploma in Hotel Management with over 28 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He has undergone several professional courses from institutions such as Cornell University, London Business School, and The Harvard Business School.
Dewan served as the Chairman of the CII West Bengal State Council in 2019-20.[2] Following that, he took on the role of Chairman of the CII Eastern Region for 2021-22. [3] Additionally, he served as the Co-Chairman of the CII National Committee on Tourism & Hospitality for the term 2022-2023. Currently, he holds the position of elected National Council Member.
Furthermore, Mr. Dewan is an Executive Committee Member of Nicco Parks & Resorts Ltd[4] and holds positions in key industry associations, including the Federation of Hotel & Restaurants Association of India (FHRAI) [5] and the Hotels & Restaurant Association of Eastern India (HRAEI). [6]
