Wafaa Amer (born May 25, 1968) is an Egyptian film and television actress.

Early life and education[edit]

Amer was born in the city of Alexandria. She graduated from the Faculty of Arts at the Arab University of Beirut, and then joined the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts. During university, she participated in university theater.

Her sister is fellow actress Ayten Amer.[1]

Career[edit]

She began her involvement in the arts through her role in the series "The Husband Knows Last," and subsequently succeeded in several series including "Layali Al Helmeya," "Zaman Al Hob Al Da'e," "Amira Min Abdeen," "Imsik Hokm," "Dheilab Al Jabal," and "Faris Bila Jawad." Additionally, she participated in cinema through films such as "Al Garage," "A Woman and Five Men," "Ard Ard," and "Wala Fi Al Niya Abqa".[2]
