From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

W. G. Little, William G. Little and William Gray Little should link here

Why is his son never noted as William Gray Little III? Son is renowned for having brought football to University of Alabama? [1] Seems to have been a son of this other Little.[2] Or is it same person? I'm a bit confused about the abbrev sand who's who..[3]

William Gray Little Jr. was a lawyer and state senator in Alabama from 1872 to 1879. He succeeded Republican J. A. Yordy in the Alabama Senate after Yordy's death. His election provided the Democrats with a majority.[4] After his death in 1879 he was succeeded in office by A. G. Smith. [5]
