Willie Salim is a TikToker and YouTuber who was born in Toboali, South Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province, on May 27 2002. Thus, he is currently 21 years old. Willie Salim is his real name. In Denny Sumargo's podcast, Willy denied that he was the son of a conglomerate, his father was just an ordinary businessman without mentioning the name and business his father was in. Since middle school, Willie Salim moved to Jakarta because his parents wanted a better education.

Willie Salim received his elementary education in his hometown in Toboali District, South Bangka, Bangka Belitung. Then during junior high school, Willie Salin and his parents moved to Jakarta so Willie could get a better education in the capital city. During high school, Willie was accepted at an international high school in Jakarta. Willie Salim initially created a YouTube account in 2014, but when TikTok boomed he switched to TikTok in 2020 and is more active in creating content on TikTok. Willie Salim is famous for his content “Mari Kita Borong” in which he buys many products such as franchised products from McDonald's, KFC, Starbucks, cinema tickets, Indomaret, Alfamart, gas stations, to street vendors, which he then distributes to others. Willie Salim's Youtube account has produced 747 video content and has 20.5 million subscribers and has been watched by 4.3 billion times. Meanwhile Willie Salim's TikTok account has been followed by 42.7 million accounts.[citation needed]
