Biography[edit]

Yousif became a Canadian citizen after seeking refuge in 2003 and settled in Manitoba in 2007. Working as a taxi driver to finance his education, Yousif completed studies at the Al-Neelain University.

His academic qualification helped him pursue his career goal as a political advisor. Irrespective of his birthplace; the nomadic Bedouin lifestyle, Yousif also served as a former political advisor to the Sovereignty Council before the war.
