Zachary Alexander Popovsky (born January 19, 1990) is an Mexican-American film and television producer.[1]
Early life[edit]
Popovsky was born in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, to American parents. He lived in Mexico until the age of 16 when he left to finish high school in France.
Popovsky moved to Los Angeles in 2008 and studied at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Film and television career[edit]
Popovsky has worked numerous movies and television shows throughout his career with companies such as HBO, Food Network, Sony Pictures, MTV, Discovery Channel, and Warner Bros.
Prior to focusing on producing, Popovsky worked on various projects as a cinematographer, writer, and director.[2]
Photography career[edit]
In parallel to his career in film and television, Popovsky has also worked around the world as a professional photographer.[3]
Other work[edit]
In 2010 Popovsky starred in the reality show Norte a Sur: Una Ruta, 5 Experiencias[4] for Discovery Channel#Discovery en Español.
In his 20's and early 30's, Popovsky also worked as a professional model, serving as brand ambassador[5] for Levi Strauss & Co.
Personal life[edit]
Popovsky and his wife split their time between Mexico and Morocco.
