Zouan Kourtis (Filmmaker/photographer)[edit]

Zouan Kourtis (born January 5, 1983) is a Greek filmmaker and photographer from Athens. His style is surreal, dark, gothic photography, crafting an atmospheric and haunting aesthetic through meticulous play with shadows and contrasts, inviting viewers into a mysterious realm of visual storytelling. He has been Art Director of Miranda magazine. Some of his notable short films, including "Modigliani," "Domenicos[1]," "Christ," and "Christmas covid,". In 2006 he created the stop-motion short film "Trip to the Moon[2]."
