This page should not be speedy deleted because...[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted merely on the basis of promotional content. In fact, the page has been kept in a strict neutral tone. The software has significant online notability, and I have tagged the page with WP:IC. Moreover, I am currently working on finding the credible sources for it since the software has heavy presence in notable German newspapers. Unsourced content will be removed if that can save the page from deletion. .. (your reason here) --Owen104 (talk) 19:11, 4 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Owen104: the prose is still too promotional in tone and 3 of the supposed references are actually paid advertisements on the respective news outlet, certainly not something to be used if trying to assert notability. In it's current state, I agree with the existing tags already added about questionable citations and notability. Bungle (talkcontribs) 19:16, 4 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Could you please guide how can we save it from deletion? Apart from promotional tone, which can be fixed, and the primary sources, what else is needed to be fixed? Thanks Owen104 (talk) 19:21, 4 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Owen104: The decision to delete or not is at the discretion of the reviewing administrator, however I do feel in its current state that it would need to be entirely rewritten with appropriate citations to even consider being viable, which the CSD criterion notes. You may consider writing a draft if that happens, and having this reviewed prior to being published (a draft will not be subject to the same deletion protocols). Thanks for the advice, i'll consider the 'writing a draft' suggestion for my next article. Kindly for now, just put a deletion tag rather than speedy deletion on it so I may have some time to improve and fix the article as much as I can as per your provided guidance in compliance with notability guidelines. Thanks. Owen104 (talk) 19:39, 4 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
On the basis that you assert notability may be established via foreign media, I have taken the liberty to send it to draft anyway, to afford you time to back this up with credible citations. I strongly encourage that you submit the draft through WP:AfC (once improved) to ensure another pair of eyes looks over this before it goes back to mainspace, as I still have reservations over it. Thanks much for helping me out and guiding me. Owen104 (talk) 19:50, 4 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
