How to play[edit]

"Eggman Party" is a casual competitive battle royale game[10], which contains the fictional sphere character (arts) "Eggman" and allows players to use Eggman's skills to complete the game. [11] The game uses parkour as the core gameplay and derives two different game modes: "survival" and "racing". Players' survival time and time to reach the finish line are compared and ranked. [12][10] In the "Competitive Mode" built into the game, there are a total of 32 players and 4 rounds of games. The first players to reach the end point enter the next round, and the last players who are not eliminated in the last round of the game victory. The game introduces a "convergence" mechanism. Players at the top of the rankings will receive props to hinder their game progress, thus balancing the gap between players. [13] During the game, players can control the game character "Egg Boy" to perform basic operations such as moving and jumping. Game operations such as "throwing" are also set up to help teammates or hinder other players. The game is equipped with interactive props such as "mines", "pinballs", and "salted fish". Players can use such props to promote the progress of the game. [14]There are 7 independent ranks in the game. During the game, the player's rank can be improved. [15]In addition to the parkour gameplay, game developers have set up such entertainment functions in the game based on game mechanisms such as hide-and-seek and werewolf killing, and integrated with the image of Eggman. [12][14]

"Eggman Party" allows the uploading of user-generated content (UGC), and is generally considered to be one of the core gameplays of the game. [6][10] Players use the built-in editor in the game to edit scenes and maps, and after completion, they can be made public to the game community. Players can search for map works created by other players within their community for single-player or multi-player games. [16][17] Game developer Kwan stated that in early 2023, more than one million maps will be uploaded to the game every week. [13]
