Fetch.AI

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Fetch.AI is a technology company and a decentralized platform that uses artificial intelligence to automate daily routines like reserving parking spots or flights for users.[1][2][3]

History[edit]

Fetch.AI, the artificial intelligence lab developing the Fetch.AI platform, was founded in 2017 by a team from Cambridge, UK.[4][5]

It conducted an IEO on Binance in March 2019.[4] Fetch.ai launched its native token (FET),[6] which has become one of the top gainers in March 2024.[7][8][1][9][10] FET is the fourth-largest AI-related token.[11][12]

In 2021, the company launched the NFT machine-learning platform for AI-generated art.[13]

In March 2022, Fetch.AI partnered with West Ham United as the club's official artificial intelligence partner (both men's and women's teams).[14][15]

In March 2023, Fetch.ai raised a $40M round led by DWF Labs.[16][10][17]

In 2024, it secured $100 million in infrastructure development funding to launch Fetch Compute.[11][18]

Overview[edit]

Fetch.ai operates in the US and Europe; partners include peaq, IOTA, Bosch, Deutsche Telekom, and more.[7][19][23][10][24][25]

The company is headquartered in Cambridge,[26] Humayun Sheikh is the CEO and founder.[10]
