Description
English: The Rev Herbert Kynaston Hudson, vicar of St Nicholas' Church, Berden, Essex from 1899 to 1937, introduced a 20th-century 38-year revival of a "Boy Bishop" miracle play. This cross and staff from the ceremony are held in the church next a memorial brass to Hudson.
