Description
English: Tertiary structure of human cyclin A (lacking the amino-terminal 170 amino acids), showing the central core of two five-helix bundles, with additional helices at the amino terminus (black) and carboxyl terminus (grey). The yellow region in helix 1 is the MRAIL sequence or hydrophobic patch, which contributes to the recognition of some substrates. (PDB 1fin)[1]
