English: Jesús Peredo, a musician from Morelos, Mexico, performing a verse of "El exterminio de Morelos" ("The extermination of Morelos"), a southern corrido about the Mexican Revolution written by Marciano Silva, a member of the army of the revolutionary general Emiliano Zapata during the conflict.

The corrido's lyrics are about the brutality of the campaign led by General Juvencio Robles against the Zapatistas, addressing the destruction of entire towns in Morelos by the federal army, the killings of civilians not involved in the conflict and the exodus of many families which took the decision of leaving the state.
