Summary

Description
English: Statue of General Phillip Kearny, in Military Park, Newark, New Jersey. By sculptor Henry Kirke Brown, commissioned by the state of New Jersey in 1873 for Statuary Hall in Washington DC. It was discovered in 1879 in the basement of the NJ Capitol and then moved to Newark. US Grant and George McClellan attended the dedication.
