Summary

Description

The logo for WoWWiki, a World of Warcraft Wiki. Created by User:Mikeclueby4 a.k.a Mikk of WoWWiki and released into the public domain. The "W" design is highly inspired by the "W" of the World of Warcraft logo, but, as evidented by the SVG, it is not a copy, and, to the best of my knowledge, not a copyright violation. None of the other letters in the logo exist in the "WarCraft" logo and are obviously original works.

  • This SVG version of the logo lacks:
  • A blurred drop shadow, typically present (lower-right), not really doable in vector graphics..
  • "Noise" in the gold texture, also not doable in pure vector graphics.
This would typically be post-processed in a bitmap editor.
