WoWWiki is a wiki dedicated to Blizzard Entertainment's Warcraft series of games and lore, with a focus on World of Warcraft.
General information[edit]
It was launched on the 2004-11-24 as a source of information pertaining to World of Warcraft, World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade[1][2], and the Warcraft universe in general. All the text in the wiki is released under the GNU Free Documentation License and to be able to edit the articles, visitors must register with the website.[3] It is also a source for World of Warcraft UI customization[4] and AddOn[5] information as Blizzard Entertainment themselves do not release documentation on the programming interface.[6]
WoWWiki has been an especially notable resource for tactics in World of Warcraft.[7]
