Girish Tanti

Girish Tanti (February 1970)[1] is an Indian businessman and the younger brother of Tulsi Tanti. He is the co-founder of Suzlon Energy, renewable energy company in India, and third largest turbine-maker worldwide.[2]

Early life and education[edit]

Tanti did his graduation in Electronics & Communication Engineering and completed his MBA from UK.[3]

Career[edit]

Tanti holds the positions of vice-chair of the Global Wind Energy Council since April 2024[4] and also Executive Vice Chairman of Suzlon Energy since 2022.[3] He was chosen during the annual border meeting in Abu Dhabi along with his brother Vinod R. Tanti, who was chosen as Chairman of Suzlon Energy,[1] following the passing of their late brother Tulsi Tanti.[3] He seeks to carry forward his vision and legacy.[4]
