Goalorious Mother Sports Club (also known as GMSC) is an Indian professional football club based in I.C. Colony, Borivali,[1] a prominent Roman Catholic neighborhood in the Mumbai Suburbs. They currently compete in the Mumbai Premier League (the top division of the Mumbai Football League).[2][3]

History[edit]

GMSC was founded by John Almeida and primarily competed in private tournaments in the city and country. They turned professional in 2018 when they first competed in the 2018-19 MFA Elite Division and have been run by John's son, Jeddy Almeida ever since.[4][5]

Before the 2023–24 Mumbai Premier League season, GMSC allied with Mighty Young Joe SC,[6] a club based in Malad.[7] and proceeded to win their first league title.[8] Through the campaign, they racked up several wins by margins of 5 goals or more.[9][10][11]
