Prerendered approved books

Shouldn't there be a way for an author to set up a book at a particular time and have a user option to get that prerendered and approved version rather than the very latest versions of every article? At any particular time an article may be vandalized - wouldn't it be better for the creator to be able to render and have a list of the timestamps for the rendering and then ask for a different timestamp for one or more parts if they have current problems? Help some images wont render!

HELP! Why are some of the flags in User:Thatpopularguy123/List of countries and territories won't render when I export it to PDF? Especially the flags of Castille and Leon and Micronesia. Thatpopularguy123 (talk) 16:19, 11 June 2013 (UTC)

But wait! Do you have any idea why the "flagicon" templates won't render for some flags, particularly, Argentine Antarctica, Castile and Leon, Micronesia, Mount Athos, Seychelles, and the Valencian Community? Why won't their "flagicon" templates render? That's why I changed those to normal image links rather than the "flagicon" template. EDIT:When I exported this page to PDF, the "flagicon" templates below won't appear. Thatpopularguy123 (talk) 06:01, 12 June 2013 (UTC)

That's bizarre! No, I have no idea why those images are included in a PDF file if you put them in directly, but are omitted if you use them via a flag template. -- John of Reading (talk) 06:49, 12 June 2013 (UTC)
