"Section about xx"[edit]

This section of the "missing manual" has several of these wikilinks still present. Where should they be pointing? I don't want to fill in my own ideas if John B can do it himself. Other than that, stellar work! Franamax (talk) 10:05, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"unless faced with overwhelming evidence"[edit]

The sentence makes clear that in an ideal world editors assume that everyone is acting with good faith "unless faced with overwhelming evidence" because the fact is that many editors are ne'er-do-wells. By changing the phrasing by replacing these five words with "correctly" creates as fact that other editors are acting in good faith. Perhaps some think that it would be the case in the ideal world but the sentence isn't constructed around what everyone is doing, it's with how each of us react in an ideal world to what others are doing.
