In Broad Daylight is a 2023 Hong Kong crime drama film about a journalist who goes undercover as the granddaughter of a resident of a nursing home to investigate suspected abuse and discovered corruption. the film was released with positive reviews by critics who praised performances of Yu, Leung and Lam. the film earned 19 nommitions at Hong Kong awards.[1][2]The movie's plot is inspire by 2 scandals. One of them is Cambridge Nursing Home was found out to force a dozen female residents of the nursing home were left naked on a balcony in full view of the neighbourhood before taking showers in 2015. Another one is a former director of the Bridge of Rehabilitation care home found guilty of assaulting an underaged and visually impaired female resident in 2016.[3]
