Kashap

Kashap (کاشاپ) Tehsil Dasht, Kech District in Balochistan, is a small valley. It is part of the Makran division, situated west of Dasht Kech. Kashap band being south of Mand and Bal Nigwar on the west side. The inhabitants are sunni Muslims. The tribes living in the valley are Askani and Rind. The town is located in the west of Balochistan. It is situated west of Turbat close to the Iranian border. The name chosen means leaf water, and the founder of this village is Mohammed Ali Jalab Lashkari Askani. His family and grandson are still living in this valley.[when?]
